About Us

Our Story

Women Voice for Justice is an independent feminist organization established in 2021 by a group of young feminists. We work to document violations of women rights and gender-based violence (GBV), provide legal and psychological support to survivors, and advocate for gender justice through a human rights-based and intersectional approach.

Our Vision

A world where women enjoy full rights and gender justice.

Our Mission

To empower women through comprehensive documentation, support, and advocacy.

Our Values

Feminism, independence, integrity, and intersectional solidarity.

The Challenges Survivors Face

  • Social Stigma: Negative societal perceptions that prevent survivors from reporting.
  • Legal Obstacles: Complex procedures and a lack of trust in the judicial system.
  • Lack of Holistic Support: The absence of integrated psychological, economic, and legal support.

Our Key Achievements

  • Documented 200 cases of gender-based violence.
  • Documented 100 cases of conflict-related sexual violence.
  • Participated in 3 national advocacy campaigns.
  • Trained 200 female activists in monitoring and documentation techniques within displacement camps in Darfur and Kordofan.

Our Contribution to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

WVJ contributes primarily to SDG 5: Gender Equality through its legal and economic empowerment programs and its work to combat violence against women.
